Course Objectives: Have you ever wanted to learn how to design and make sterling silver jewelry? Then you need this class. In this class you will learn the basics of designing and how to use an acetylene torch to solder. You will also learn how to use a variety of tools and techniques to create one of a kind jewelry pieces. You will also learn a little bit about acid etching and resin casting as time and interest permits.
This class is also designed to expand on your knowledge from a prior metalsmithing class. If it has been a while since your last class...no worries, we'll go over all of the basics to get you started again. Demonstration of various construction processes will be performed. Prior work that remains unfinished from another class is always welcome. This class is geared toward the individual interests of the students.
All levels of metalsmithing meet in this class. I think it's great to have the different levels together so you can all learn from one another. Classes are small so the learning is much faster too.

| Hard at work filing. File Beth File.... |

| Beth finished her bracelet up from the acid workshop. |
